Solarkraft start out well but that all changes once the installation starts. Solarkraft came on the installation date (they advised it would take up to two days to do the install) but they left the same day without telling us or doing any handover. We didn’t stick around all day because we didn’t know how long the install would take. They also installed the panels on our roof with two big orange isolation switches facing out on the front of the house to the street. It was a complete eye sore and although they initially agreed to move them, it never happened. We chased them several times and they promised us someone would come out. Two weeks later nothing. We had used their recommended finance so we ended up having hold back approving the loan to force them to come out and move the switches.
After about four weeks, Energex competed the upgrade to a new smart meter. We then called, left voicemail and emailed Solarkraft to come out, turn on the system (it still has never been turned on or setup) and give us a run thought. Two days later we got a email finally replying advising they won’t come back out and attached the manual. They claim the install was complete and turning on the system and doing a run through was done the day of the install. They refused to come out again.
In reading the manual it’s clear you don’t just turn it on. You need to get an app, connect to wifi, setup your wifi and then go through steps to initialise the system. I’ve never turned on an invertor and don’t know how to check the system is running correctly.
I choose this company after reading some of the reviews on Facebook, suspect that there has been a change of people.
Do not use this company unless you are ok with no post installation help. I’m really not happy with Solarkraft, worst off now I have no idea how I would ever get any after sales support or service if anything were to go wrong.
Was booked in with another company for install , but was so impressed with Aaron that I changed to solarkraft. He had nothing to hide about the products and there manufacturers, could back it up with internet proof and honesty is so very important. Their installers were very polite and did a great job. In a short time after install on a stormy day i was generating more power than i was using totally wrapped what a great investment its a shame that I didn't have a win on the Melbourne Cup that would have topped my day. To be honest we’ve had some hiccups (through no direct fault of any 1 person & let’s face it, not every single transaction can be perfect) HOWEVER the actual Service we’ve received from all the staff in the Brisbane office and the solutions provided were/are exemplary!!
The pricing was competitive but for us, it’s not always about price - it’s the SERVICE & SUPPORT that counts and these guys have gone above and beyond in that regard ....

Thomas from the SolarKraft made several calls to discuss the plan and also proactively talked to the service delivery firm SEM group Darwin about the deposit and detail plan. Lucy from SEM was so professional and gave us prompt response whenever i called or emailed her. Installation guys were so good team member to work closely, very effectively and efficently. They didnt leave any rubbish behind. Good boys.
I was very happy with the service from SolarKraft. My initial contact with Cael was very informative and installation was completed within a couple of weeks. Had lots of calls from management to check that everything was progressing to plan, which it was. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
Had a issue with supply and demand getting some solar panels fitted, but this problem has been rectified. I got a a phone call from Alex the boss down at Solarkraft. After a lengthy discussion with him and him apologising profusely we have now had the issue sorted. After my initial annoyance with Solarkraft, I can now say a big thumbs up. Customer service is top notch they will help you with any issues that might arise. ....promptly! .

I have had a very pleasant experience in dealing with SolarKraft. Firstly the initial consultation with Aaron. He was very knowledgeable , straightforward [no sleazy sales pitch!] friendly & courteous. He ensured i was aware of all aspects & even left me his mobile no. in case i had any queries. I did which he quickly followed up on. Further contact with Ian & Pia & Andi - well they bent over backwards to assist! They followed up & kept me informed at all stages ! I was treated as a person & not a number. What impressed me was the fact that even after the contract was signed & installation the level of service did not decrease -rare these days!! I am now looking forward to great savings on our electricity bill. I am recommending SolarKraft to all my friends for a hassle free rewarding experience. We had a fantastic experience with the consultant who was very knowledgeable on the product and future products. He did however get the location of the inventor wrong as the installers said that they would need to get a different cable as they didn't have one long enough on the day and couldn't finish the job and came back a couple of days later to finish it. The installer were very good at explaining everything to do with the app and how to use the solar to get our monies worth. Was very happy with the service and follow up procedures.
